I made this pouch first for my writing group in the Spring, and it sparked the entire collection! The two pockets inside were meant to keep postage stamps and rubber stamps sorted and separate from envelopes, paper, and pens.
The zipper tabs and inside pocket complement the outside of the pouch. The colour combinations will evolve as the scraps pile up!
The Scraplings Collection is made from cut-offs from the making of our Sendak Artist Rolls. After years of boxing up the scraps, we’ve decided to transform them into something useful. We generally have very little waste in our shop, and here is just one more step towards using everything.
The Sendak canvas is a lighter weight than our usual pouches and bags, and the colours vary slightly as well. We will be making them in small batches as we accumulate scrap, and the colour pairings will evolve with the leftovers.
These pouches are blank slates waiting to be marked with your adventures and stories!

Here's a very versatile and practical pouch! I was excited to see this style get released. I love carrying a collection of postcards, stickers, and bits of paper that I use in my journal, and this pouch helps me keep them organized. Same great craftsmanship as with other Peg & Awl pouches, with extra functionality (I love the inside pockets) + whimsy (the 2 tones are a nice little detail). The extra bits of canvas on each side of the zipper do make the opening a bit smaller, as pointed out by another customer, but I've noticed that they also protect the ends of the zipper and give the pouch a more finished look. I would definitely consider getting another one, especially in fun contrasting colors!
